Hello friends!  My name is Sara, and I like to eat clean….most of the time.  I also love to go out to eat, and I enjoy my fair share of adult beverages.  I have been eating pretty close to an 80/20 Paleo diet for some time now….but I think my 20% is keeping my from my goal of losing about 10 pounds.  I am going to be attempting the Whole 30 (http://whole9life.com/category/whole-30/)  Basically it is Paleo on steroids.  If you don’t already know Paleo is all about eating clean and natural.  No grains, dairy, legumes, sugar…nothing artificial.  We eat things as close to the way natural gave them to us.  This means lots of grass fed, free-range meat and eggs, organic veggies and fruit, healthy fats like avocado, coconut oil and olive oil and some nuts on occasion as well.  During the Whole30 there is no 80/20…it’s gonna be tough.

Besides loving to eat and cook, I love the work out.  A lot of Paleo folks do crossfit, but I have a bad shoulder and don’t think its a good idea for me.  I lift weights 2-3 times a week, run, take spin classes, and love a hot yoga class.  I have an instagram where I have been sharing some of what I eat and do.  My name is ieatcleankc.

I also love music, especially live shows..and live sporting events.  I live in Kansas City with my 14 year old dog Princess!
